With all the blog tools and social media tools it became easier to create content. How about printing magazine in the web 2.0 world, it doesn’t take you it doesn’t take you more than creating a PDF file.
Magcloud is a magazine printing, mailing and subscription management service that allows you to create magazines. Create a PDF high resolution PDF file and upload it to magcloud they will take care of the printing, mailing and other things. It doesn’t cost you anything to print a magazine according to Magcloud, then you may ask how it will make money. The magazine creator can set a price above the printing costs, so when some one purchases your magazine they will take the printing costs and gives whatever your set price above the printing cost.
Magcloud is a product from HP Labs and uses HP Indigo technology to print each issue when it is ordered, so there is no cost involved unless some one orders a magazine.
The site is currently in private beta, you can request an invite here. Payments are made via paypal to the magazine publisher. Others can purchase by Paypal or by credit card. Via SomeWhatFrank
