Google has redesigned the web version of Google Play store, the new design is inline with the redesign that was launched in April on Android devices. The new design is clean and simple and is available to everyone.
The new design uses the card style interface with colorful navigation icons. The apps, movies, books and devices links are added as a sticky to the browser making it easy to access them. The apps, games, movies and books, all are arranged in card style, the apps appear as recommendations for you.
Individual sections of the categories are now arranged in a better way with tabs for Top Charts and New releases. Overall the look is pleasing, the app icons now appear in card style with names below. The individual app pages also redesigned. Now the screenshots arrangement below the app title look much nicer than the previous version. The description of the app is right below the screenshots. There is wishlist feature prominent now, you can add apps to your wishlist. You can also redeem gift cards in the play store now.
