Samsung has launched the much awaited Galaxy Note 3 along with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch in India today. Both these devices were originally launched at IFA Berlin 2013 few days back. Samsung has already started taking pre-orders for Note 3 with and with out Galaxy Gear watch. Galaxy Note 3 is priced at ?49,900.
Galaxy Note 3 is an improvement from the previous model Note 2 and includes better hardware. Samsung has increased the screen size of the Note 3 with out increasing the device size similar approach it took when it launched Samsung Galaxy S4. Note 3 comes with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED full HD display and supports S-Pen stylus, the prominent feature of the note series of smartphones.
It is powered by a 1.9Ghz Octa-Core Exynos processor with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. It runs on the Android 4.3 with TouchWiz UI overlayed on it. It packs a 13MP rear camera with smart stabilization and LED flash. It has a 3200mAh battery under the hood to power up the device.
Offers: Samsung has partnered with Vodafone in India to provide 2GB of free data to Note 3 owners for two months. According to Samsung Note 3 buyers will also get freebies in terms of content through Samsung apps.
Availability & Pricing: Galaxy Note 3 will be available in India from September 25th onwards like other world markets. It will be made available in Samsung stores, retail outlets etc. Galaxy Note 3 will carry a price tag of ?49,900 in India, the retail price might be lower or Samsung will throw some freebies along with the phone as is the case with other Samsung phones.
