Samsung is expected to announce Galaxy S5 some time early next year, Galaxy S5 is the next version of its flagship device and this is the fifth iteration. Premium phones from other manufacturers are increasingly featuring aluminum metal body and Samsung has resisted to include one. We expected metal chassis with the Galaxy S4, but Samsung stick to the good old plastic, but this time it might launch the Galaxy S5 with a meta body according to a report on EMSOne.
According to the report Catcher of Taiwan is the supplier of these metal cases to Samsung for Galaxy S5, the report also mentions that Taiwan’s Ju Teng and China’s BYD as other suppliers for the Galaxy S5 metal casings. If the report is true then we will see next Samsung flagship in unibody aluminum casing.
Samsung stick to the plastic earlier as it is working quite well for them, remember it is is the largest Android smartphone manufacturer with those plastic shells. Earlier there is another report which suggested that Samsung will launch Galaxy S5 in two variants, one with metal casing as a premium phone and another variant a plastic one for the mass market. According to earlier reports it is expected to be launched around February or March.
Galaxy S5 is expected to come with a 5-inch full HD screen, include an octa-core processor, 16MP camera. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with latest TouchWiz UI on top.
