BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) is coming to Android and iOS soon as promised by BlackBerry, recently BB started testing of the BBM on Android and some screenshots of the same leaked online. It will be available through Android and iOS appstores for users to download on their devices. Apart from the official Google Play Store for Android it will also be available from Samsung appstore, according to Samsung Africa.
At least Samsung Africa appstore will carry BBM on its appstore and will be available for all Galaxy devices, hopefully Samsung will also include it in other regions as well, but it is not of a much concern as it will be available from Play Store.
Samsung Africa issued a press release regarding the same, on the release Samsung notes that its customers will have access to the “BBM social network, including BBM chats, multi-person chats and BBM groups, which allows BBM customers to create groups of up to 30 people, as well as the ability to share photos and voice notes.”
BlackBerry and Samsung partnered to distribute and market BBM across Africa on Samsung Android handsets. BBM for Android is expected to come this month or next.
