Samsung unveiled a new Android smartphone in it’s Galaxy series of phones, called Galaxy Music. Galaxy Music is running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich skinned with Samsung TouchWiz UI on top and has some music-centric features, hence the name.
Galaxy Music is a budget Android device, it comes with a 3-inch QVGA display at 320 X 240 pixel resolution. This phone targeted towards music lovers, to please your senses it has dual front speakers for better sound quality along with FM Radio. Other music related features include Sound Alive technology and SRS audio modes. As a music centered phone it supports all major audio profiles including, mp3, ogg, aac, aac+, eaac+, amr-nb, amr-wb, wav, mid, imy, flac and wma.
Other specifications of Galaxy Music include an unnamed powerful processor according to Samsung, 512 MB of RAM, 4GB user memory and a microSD slot for expanding the memory upto 32GB. There is a 3 megapixel rear camera without Flash, and 1300mAh battery. The connectivity options include USB, Wi-Fi, GPS/ Glonass, Bluetooth etc.
Galaxy Music also has a dual-SIM version aptly named Galaxy Music DUOS. Pricing and availability are not yet known for this device.
