Samsung is all set to launch its first Tizen smartphone at this year’s Mobile World Congress. We heard about this phone before its launch is a big mystery and earlier postponed several times pushing the release date for months. If the rumors are correct we will see this phone launched at the MWC 2014. Samsung is planning for this phone from quite some time to break independent of the Android or at least it will serve as a insurance from Google’s Android if relationship with Google becomes unfavorable.
The smartphone which appeared on a Korean site is apparently called Samsung ZEQ 9000, ZEQ pronounced as “Zeke”. Look at the phone it is so similar to the current Galaxy phones particularly to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4, familiar face. The phone is a bit smaller than the Galaxy S4 with 4.8-inches and reportedly comes with 720p HD resolution, we don’t know why Samsung has settled for HD, Full HD would have been better. It is rumored to carry the 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 Quad-core SoC, but it is not confirmed.
Other details are scarce at the moment and we look forward to MWC to learn more about the device.
