Smart Namo Phablet with a massive display is coming soon for the Indian market. Smart Namo is a brand from Narendra Modi fans, NAMO stands for his name and also for Next Generation Android Mobile Odyssey. Earlier we heard abut the Smart Namo smartphone and now we are hearing about a phablet which now boasts the biggest display in the market, bigger than the Sony Xperia Z Ultra at 6.4-inch.
Smart Namo phablet will feature a 6.5-inch LCD screen at full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), with pixel density of 339ppi. The phone boasts 9.5mm thickness with 230gms weight. It is quite bulky and with that screen size it is quite uncomfortable to hold it. The screen is just 0.5inch less than the Google Nexus 7 tablet.
It is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6589T processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is a dual-SIM handset and supports dual standby. It runs on the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system and upgradeable in future. It also carries a 13-megapixel camera at the rear and a 2MP camera at the front.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Edge, GPS, Micro USB. It packs a 3150mAh battery under the hood to provide juice to the massive display phone.
The pricing and availability of the phablet are not officially announced, but multiple reports suggest that it is priced at Rs. 21,000.
