S Mobility, part of the Spice group has launched three Android smartphones in Stellar range, to cater to the different segments of the smartphone consumers in India. Stellar range of smartphones announced today include Spice Stellar, Stellar Horizon and Stellar Craze.
Spice bills them as secure Android devices, as they come with NQ Mobile antivirus, free for the first six months. The application comes can scan external storage cards and offers anti-theft and phone lock features.
The Spice Stellar is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and boasts a 4-inch screen and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, it can be upgraded to the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It has 2000mAh battery that can give 7 hours of talk time. It also has a 5megapixel camera and this phone retails at Rs. 9,999.
Spice Stellar Craze boasts 3.5 inch display and runs on Android 2.3 and can be upgraded to Android ICS later. It has dual-SIM capabilities and retails at Rs 6499.
Stellar Horizon is powered by a dual-core 1Ghz Snapdragon processor and boasts a 5-inch display screen and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 300MHz GPU, a %megapixel rear camera and 0.3Mp front camera. It also supports Wi-Fi tethering, GPS, and dual-SIM and has 2150mAh battery. This phone retails at Rs1199.
