Spotify finally hits the Windows Phone 8 store, if you are waiting for the app go and download. Spotify promised an app for WP8 in November last year, after three months today they released the app for Windows Phone 8 in beta.
If you don’t see the app in the app store just wait for few hours and you can download the app. Spotify for Windows Phone 7 is available from long along with Android and iOS versions. Spotify took it’s own sweet time to release an app for Windows Phone 8, which is essential for the WP8 success as it is criticized for lack of apps for popular services.
Spotify for WP8 is released as a beta version, so you might encounter some issues and expect things to change in near future. According to Windows blog it supports all the functions of the app like creating playlists, accessing friends lists and also it allows you to download tracks.
Spotify is available as a free download and will stay as a free service for 30days, but later you need to subscribe to a premium service which costs $9.99 a month.
