Sony has started selling Xperia Z in US market for $629.99 on it’s online store. This is an unlocked version of the Android smartphone and it is also available from Amazon and Newegg for a little less. Another thing to know is that this is a HSPA+ version that means it only supports 3G speeds and not 4G. A 4G version might be coming through T-Mobile according to the Xperia blog.
Sony has also reduced the price of Xperia ZL, earlier Xperia ZL retailed for $759 and now its price is reduced to $629.99 inline with its sibling Xperia Z. Xperia ZL is not water and dust resistant like the Xperia Z.
Sony launched Xperia Z smartphone this January, it is a flagship device for Sony and it is available in many countries since the launch. It is available in White, Black and Purple colors for the US market. It is available in India for a price of Rs. 38999.
Sony Xperia Z is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-core Snapdragon Processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
