The popular video sharing network YouTube brings 19000+ Indian television shows at one place Youtube.com/shows/. YouTube has partnered with major Indian broadcasters including Sony Entertainment Television, Colors, Imagine TV, Star India and Vikatan TV to bring their shows online.
YouTube now offers local content to Indian viewers in six different languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, and Punjabi) and 300 different programs from various channels. YouTube has arranged all these shows in a central place at Youtube.com/shows. Users accessing this content from other countries should go to youtube.com/shows/other-languages.
If you go to the shows page you can see that content is organized by categories like Comedy, Dram, reality Shows, Soaps etc. You can browse through the latest episodes of the shows and clicking on any show will open the page containing all episodes. Episodes are organized clearly, so if you have missed watching todays episode on TV you can watch it online anytime. This categorization of content will benefit users as they don’t have to search through the entire site to get to the episode they want to watch.
