Xolo has launched the Tegra-4 powered Tegra Note tablet in India as expected earlier, Xolo has priced this tablet at Rs 17,999. The tablet will be available from today across retailers, the Tegra Note already listed on some online retailers for pre-orders earlier.
Xolo Tegra Note comes with Android 4.2.2 out of the box, it will be upgraded immediately to Android 4.3 and later to Android 4.4 KitKat. It comes with a 7-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution at 216ppi pixel density. It is powered by the Nvidia 1.8GHz Quad Core Tegra 4 chipset along with Tegra 40S GPU. It packs 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The in-built memory can be expanded upto 64GB using a micro SD card.
The Tegra Note tablet comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera. It comes with a stylus using Nvidia DirectStylus Technology. Connectivity options include W-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB. This is a Wi-Fi only tablet so there is no support for in-built 3G. According to Xolo the tablet will give 8.2 hours of web-browsing time and upto 10 hours of video playback time.
The tablet measures 199 x 119 x 9.6 mm and weighs 320gms. The list of sensors in the tablet include: Direction Sensor, G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, E-Compass, Gyro Sensor, Linear Acceleration Sensor, Rotation vector Sensor.
