Xolo has launched its first tablet in India called Xolo Tab. Xolo is the sub brand of Lava International, it launched several Android smartphones under the Xolo brand and this is the first tablet from them.
Xolo Tab (QC800) features a 8-inch IPS display at 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad Core Snapdragon MSM8225Q Processor with Adreno 302 GPU. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be expanded with an external SD card. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The tablet has a SIM card slot and supports voice calling. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera. 720p video playback is supported. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and Micro USB. Xolo Tab packs a 4000mAh battery under the hood to power up the device. The battery gives total browsing time of 4-5 hours on 3G and Wi-Fi networks.
Availability & Pricing: Xolo Tab will be available from the next few days. It is priced at ?13,499 and will compete with other tablet offerings from Samsung, Micromax and Karbonn.
