Xolo is all set to launch a new smartphone in its Q series of phones with 1.5GHz Quad Core processor. According to a report on NDTV Gadgets it will be launched at the end of July with a price tag of Rs. 16,999. The smartphone is reported to be just 6.8mm thickness and runs on Android Jelly Bean OS.
The Xolo Q1000S will come with 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6589T processor. On the camera front it comes with a 13megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Other specifications are not yet clear for this smartphone.
Apart from this Xolo has several Q series phones in its portfolio and it is expected to launch Xolo Play T1000 on July 15th. Xolo Play is already on pre-order from quite few days at Rs. 15,999. Xolo Play is the first Tegra 3 powered smartphone from Xolo. It comes with a 4.7-inch screen and 1.5GHz NVDIA Tegra 3 Processor.
If you look at these specs it looks like Xolo is targeting recently launched Micromax Canvas 4, upcoming iBerry Auxus Nuclea N1, Spice pinnacle FHD and Karbonn Titanium S9. Users were disappointed with the Canvas 4 specifications as Micromax built up lot of hype surrounding the device. Every other manufacturer is looking to capitalize this and are releasing devices that match with specifications of Canvas 4.
